What our campers say

Honestly, been to a fair few campsites in Cornwall but never a pitch site, as I've always been put off being close to people or too many people. However, the camp was so lovely, quiet, an amazing space and everyone so considerate. 10 mins drive from gorgeous beaches and 15 from St Ives centre! The place itself is stunning the facilities are above and beyond! Toilets and showers, laundry, fridges/freezers microwave, washing up areas, Wi-Fi., The man who greeted us at reception was amazing. The whole site, so accommodating, they helped us out with fire lighters and fire pit when needed. They have wood and all sorts for sale, cheap, very handy! Such a beautiful place, animals around such as ponies and chickens to observe nearby, as well as a resort that has indoor and outdoor pool across the road if you're not into the beach! I'm not a football fan but they even put the game on at reception for everyone who wanted to enjoy and again everyone was so respectful and quiet! I'm just amazed by this camp and I'll definitely be back, thank you so much to the owners.

Amazing, so peaceful, staff are lovely, amenities are everything you need (loos, showers, fridges, laundry) no frills. And so cheap! And a 10 minute walk to a great chippy too. I'm chuffed with this find!

We stayed here August bank holiday for one week and had a great time. The site is lovely and peaceful, the facilities are nice and clean. The location is perfect, it is a short walk to the nearest shop and the bus stop where you can get on a number of buses, we used the coaster to get to St Michaels Mount. Carbis bay beach is about 20 minutes walk. You can get on the train from Carbis Bay or take the coastal path to St Ives. The walk is well worth while to take in the views. Takes around 40 minutes and is hilly. St Ives was very nice but busy. Mount Douglas farm campsite is perfect for a costal tour.

This campsite is a hidden gem. Phil and Zoe are so welcoming and there is such a lovely, calm atmosphere. The location is ideal, quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes walk to the bus stop where you can hop on a bus straight into St Ives.
